Our club participates in Spring and Fall Racing Series. We also hold social events and welcome the opportunity to share our exciting sailing sport with you!
Boat ownership for participation is not required. Our boats need crew so come join us.

Club Procedure For Use Of The Gin Pole.
Please follow the procedures below when using the club Gin Pole.
• The Gin Pole is for CLSC members only.
• You will need to contact both the Marina Manager, Daniel Tarr, and the club representative for the Gin Pole, Commodore Chuck Bowers, to start the process (Chuck’s contact info is in the membership roster).
• During the busy Summer months, it is recommended that you schedule using the Gin Pole during the week so as not to tie up the busy ramp use during the busy weekends.
• You will need help as is the boat owner’s responsibility. Make sure that you have enough.

Cherokee Lake is the premier location in East Tennessee for a day of sailing. It is the pristine lake due to its width that enables a sailor to take advantage of various points of sail.
There is currently dock space through Black Oak Marina if you are interested in a berth for your boat. We gather at our club pavilion for club events, as well as holding activities at Off The Hook Restaurant located in the marina.
